McCloud Reservoir is fishing very good right now. Its not hard to limit out, simply trolling a Sep's dodger and a Seps 2-inch grub will do the trick. Trolling slow .7 to 1.3 mph in an S pattern will put the offering in the right zone. The trout ( Rainbows Brookies and Browns) can caught trolling in depths of 15 to 35 feet, all over the lake. Trolling k-7 kwikfish near the bottom will give you a good shot at the Browns. First light until the sun hits the water is the best time to go or later in the evening as the sun get off the water, now that afternoon temperatures are reaching mid 90's.
