A fantastic pre-thanksgiving week on the Klamath with awesome people.

It has been another great fall season on the Klamath. After nearly 30 years of fishing (hard to believe ?, Time has gone so fastfor me, 1993 to present) this time of year is always my favorite. We have had a real fall this year and it has been nice and slow. No boom it is Winter now.

With that said, Steelhead fishing has been consistently good day in and day out. My clients have been catching and releasing ( hatchery fish can been kept but they are unicorns) fish between 12 and 26 inches. I have had my clients doing what I do best and that is a combination of all methods of fishing. They have caught fish on the flyrod, spinning rod and baitcasting rod while fishing under the indicator, casting plugs, and backtrolling plugs.

Bottomline the Klamath is an amazing river that I am proud to live 20 minutes from and guide on everyday. As we fall in Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and the Winter months (December January, February and March) Klamath Steelhead fishing will continue to provide an amazing adventure that will put a smile on your face.
