Its early, but with our high water now receding from recent storms, its safe to say its go time!  We haven't seen a big rain event in late October in many years, but as predicted, big water this time of the year pulls up salmon and steelhead from the lower reaches of the Sacramento River.  All of our 2021 salmon runs so far have been larger than predicted, and I expect to see a good run of late fall Kings as well.  We'll continue to see late fall salmon ariving in the Barge Hole as well as other areas above Red Bluff until the season closes on December 31st.  With early rains this season, we will likely have access to these late fall salmon until years end.  High water events in November and December could put a damper on the salmon fishing here and there, but overall we're looking forward to a better than average late fall salmon season.  Along with our salmon, we'll likely see some good hatchery steelhead fishing as well.  All of our Sacramento River late fall fishing trips are combo trips and we fish for salmon, trout, and steelhead daily!  Steelhead report cards are required for our late fall trips so we can fish for all species each day.  We have three guides fishing late fall trips on the Sacramento River this year so we have quite a few available dates for those of you that havent had a chance to get on calendar yet.  Call Jaynie at (530) 510-2925 for more info about our late fall Sac River salmon, trout, and steelhead fishing trips!  Thank you!
