What better way to spend a day with your lady then on a great lake like Shasta lake.

Gary and Sharon took home some fantastic trout meat but it wasn't all easy. We worked hard to trying to keep these hard fighting fish on the line. Once we got them dialed in the action was fast furious. Rapala bx swimmers did trick and boy did those big Shasta hit them hard but when your trolling between 3 and 4 mph these fish mean it when they hit!

Sharon took big fish honors on the day with a great 5 pound 22 incher. Gary took the ariel fish honors with a nice 2.5 pounder that put on a marlin type drag ripping jumping show. It was one of those had to be there moments.

We lucked out the early morning was extremely comfortable an cool due to a major rain storm from the previous day. It is always nice when Redding starts put out cool then warms up it was maybe a high of 85 degrees on the day.

Shasta Lake weather and Trout fishing will  continue to heat up throughout the summer so give me a call and let's put a trip together.
