Shasta lake summer fishing means lots of hungry fish. Trout are feeding all over the lake like it was their last meal. Huge shad balls are all over the deep water main body channel. Find them and you will find fishi at depths ranging from 50 feet to 110 feet.

Small  shad plugs or lures trolled around 2.5 mph worked well to get bit especially with ProCure Carpspit. That was definitely the difference maker yesterday. Lures heavily coated got bit more often. These fish are great eating and getting fatter everyday so give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com
