Today we fished the Sacramento River for King salmon and it was an easy limits kind of day. We pulled plugs all morning and had several bites right off the bat, landing two fish within the first hour of fishing.  A few more bites and another big, bright fall King and we were headed to the take out with bags of fillets and fresh salmon roe in the cooler!  Not much more to report, but its worth mentioning, the late fall salmon fishing is as good as it gets right now.  I have several dates available before the river closes in mid December so now is the time to get your family or friends set on a date between now and then for some excellent salmon fishing action!
