Today we fished Shasta Lake again and found our first and best fish of the day 10 minutes into the trip.  He put up a great fight and it was a great feeling to slide the net under this big beautiful brown. The lake is stirred up pretty good with the last few days of wind, and depending on where you are, you can see 63-72 degree readings on the surface.  It makes finding a good bite tough, but we worked pretty hard and found some very nice fish for our effort.  I have a lot of days booked the next two months on Shasta, Trinity, and Whiskeytown Lakes.  Not a lot of days left in May or June so give me a call to set your July-Sept trips when the fishing is really good all over the Shasta-Trinity lakes.
