Another day of lights out trout fishing on Shasta Lake!  The morning bite was fast and furious with six lines in the water, which didn't last long.  After hooking one fish after another and no time inbetween, we found ourselves trolling with all the rods in the boat.  Obviously its not like this every day, but for the last three days it has been on fire.  I'm running spoons on the surface and Arctic Fox Trolling Flies on wire lines out the back of the boat.  I havent found a lot of big fish of late, but the fast action with 12"-14" trout is making up for the fewer big fish bites.  The main lake is around 53 degrees.  Find the colder water and you'll find the trout....  Tight lines!
