My friend Jim and I fished McCloud this weekend and found good action for Trout all day. We landed 15 Trout the biggest one being a 1.5 pounder. We might have landed more but many of the trout were biting short or nibbling. The best action came from the river arm in the early morning and later in the day. The Sep's dodger with a worm trailor worked great. Drifting with the current and letting your rig drag behind the boat was the key to hooking fish. The lake is in great shape and has a lot of hungry trout.
