Winter Steelhead fishing on the upper Klamath River has been excellent despite the Winter weather. Yesterday, was no exception as Dave Watkin's son Ben was on fire while back trolling a whole threaded nightcrawler soaked in Pro-Cure crawdad gel. Ben caught and released 6 adult Steelhead, each one gradually increasing in size, starting with a chrome 17-inch 2 pounder and finishing with a thick 24-inch 7 pounder. Ben even let Dad land one niceĀ fat 2 pounder haha. Winter Steelhead fishing on the Klamath river will continue for the next few months so give me a call 530 905 0758 if you like to book a trip.
