Sun's Out! Weekly Trout Plants have been going since October and are scheduled every week till May! Daytime highs forecast in the 50's all week and touching 60 early next week. Collins Lake is 100% Full!
With 13,000 pounds of trout already planted since Mid-October and a foggy November keeping fishing pressure reduced for a few weeks the lake is well stocked and trout action has been good! Can't get much more comfortable conditions for December .... fishing has been stellar & catching even better! Surface temps 45/46F! No need for OdarkThirty for trollers. Frosty down the A1 grade from 36, frosty spots from the S turns at the old airstrip thru the circus grounds from spalding but definitely worth it!
