by E.B. Duggan
6-3-2007
The Klamath River releases at Iron Gate are 1,540cfs. Seiad Valley flows are
2,350cfs @ 3.5t. Happy Camp flows are est. at about 2.500cfs. Somes Bar flows are
3,825cfs; Orleans flows are 4,220cfs @ 5.6ft. Water flows at Weitchpec are about
6,830cfs with water temps of 65.8 degrees & air temps at 65 degrees. Klamath at 101
Bridge is 8,300cfs @ 11.1ft and water temperatures are 64 degrees.
Last weeks temps for the Trinity Valley were 93/44 degrees with no rain. Next weeks
forecast is for 89/46 degrees with possible showers Monday and overcast mornings
with possible showers through Friday. The Trinity River is still a little bit high
but you should be able to float the river by late next week. The uppers sections are
dropping fast now and will be in good drift boat conditions by next weekend. Sorry
about last week but I was out working the river trying to find out where the fish
were hiding out. In other words, where the heck are they and what is holding them
up. People want to fish!
