November Winter Steelhead action on the Klamath River this past week has been hot. Fishing methods included eggs an legs under the bobber/indicator, as well backtrolling and casting plugs, lathered in ProCure Carpspit.
These methods produced double digit fishing days on the river. We caught and released fish up to 25 inches and 7 plus hard fighting pounds.

Labor day weekend at Shasta Lake was a hot trout biting affair.
The Labor day weekend traffic had no effect on the hot trout bite at Shasta Lake. The action continues to be steady and often red hot. The last few trips we have had multiple double hook ups, a triple hook up and even a 4 rod hook up.

Another great week of fishing on Shasta Lake. 20 to 30 fish days have been the norm, so obviously a limit of fat tasty trout is not a problem. These fish are feeding like crazy on shad and getting fatter by the day. The meat has been beautiful looking and even better to eat.

Fat Trout Monday, the guys killed it, we caught a lot (30 fish) and kept few for the BBQ.
Trout action at Shasta Lake is a no-brainer. Fantastic fishing ( 20 to 30 fish days) for Trout (Most Rainbows and a few Browns) in the 1 to 6 pound class has been hot.
