The weather was ugly but the fishing was great. My clients Ej and George landed over 30 fish today, despite the morning snow, and the all day cold rain. The guys landed 5 adult Steelies 4 wild and 1 hatchery amongst the 30, with George taking big fish honors, landing a 22 inch 5 pound wild steely. We will be back at it tomorrow hopefully the weather...

The Steely trout bite is red hot. My clients Don and Jim caught and released 35 fish today all while backtrolling a hotshot worm combo, in the upper stretches of the Klamath River. Most of the fish were 1/2 to 11/2 pounds, but we did land a couple 2 plus pound Steelies. We had one 5 pounder that we nearly landed...
