7/17/18 - It may be hot outside but Shasta Lake Trout are on the bite.
The Trout have been between 2 and 8 pounds, but the are some real hogs out there. These Trout are just full of shad and getting fatter everyday. If you decide to keep some of these Trout they are wonderful eating, they taste very much like salmon.

7/14/18 - A Daddy's and Daughter's Saturday at Lake Siskiyou, Pairs of Browns, Brooks and Rainbows for BBQ tonight. The trout bite at Lake Siskiyou is best first thing in morning as the sun is coming then the fish push down once the sun is up on water. Trout were rising all morning taking bugs off the top as well....
