Ice has taken over good portions of the shoreline. Fishing overall has been slow. March should bring fair Walleye fishing near the dam and below in the river. After suffering from drought, Rye Patch fishing should continue to improve over the next season.

With the incredibly wet winter the Nevada Department of Wildlife was able to stock trout at Lahontan Reservoir for the first time in over 20 years. In June 5,500 rainbow trout were stocked on the Churchill County side of the reservoir. East Walker Flow is currently at 75 cfs. Fishing has been good even with the extremely low temperatures. The reservoir is currently frozen. Ice fishing conditions will be updated with safe ice fishing conditions. Note that all tiger muskie must be released and report the tag # to NDOW.
East Fork of the Carson has come down to winter flows and ice has become an issue. Anchor ice is effecting the majority of the East Fork of the Carson River. Stale conditions will likely continue until we see temperatures climb or flows fluctuate and break ice.
