We're in our second week of the 2024 Sacramento River Striped bass season and it's been a good one so far!  Water conditions are perfect and there are lots and lots of Stripers in the river now.  The quality of bass we're seeing daily has been a welcomed surprise.  The numbers of healty male Stripers has been pretty impressive.  We've had a few boats on the water just about every day and so far we've put limits in the boat for our client groups daily. I would expect the great bite to continue.  We'll start to see some groups of Stripers spawning soon, especially now that we have warmer weather.  Groups of Stripers will come and go over the next several weeks so I thnk we have another solid month of great fishing ahead.  I've mostly been sitting on spot lock along the edges of current seams with lead droppers and live minnows but trolling plugs and throwing paddle tails has been effective as well.  I'm looking forward to the rest of the river Striper season and sharing fun times with our client groups that are coming out to fish with us.  Call or text Jaynie at our office for more information and available dates.  (530) 510-2925.  Thank you!
