The East is still running around 290cfs and is fishing pretty well. Lots of good reports coming in, mostly from the “Miracle Mile” section but a few from further down and from Nevada. Lots of good streamer and nymph action lately. There are lots of nice rainbows in the first mile that have come from the reservoir earlier this year, some of them taping well over 20 inches. Some of the patterns we’ve been hearing about: sculpzilla, dead drift crayfish, conehead ziwi, double bunny, wooly buggers, perdigons, z-wing caddis, buckskin caddis, rainbow warrior, prince nymph, san juan worm, jig head worms.
