MISSOULA, Mont. — The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is pleased to announce Pendleton Whisky as its official whisky starting this month.
Born in the iconic western town of Pendleton, Oregon, and named for the revered Pendleton Round-Up rodeo, Pendleton Whisky celebrates the spirit of the American cowboy and is known for its smooth taste and complex flavor.
“We are able to further our mission of ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage because of the support of our members, volunteers and valued conservation sponsors like Pendleton Whisky,” said Steve Decker, RMEF chief resource officer. “This new relationship is based on a celebration of the western and hunting lifestyles that both organizations share and cherish.”
Pendleton Whisky stepped up its support of RMEF across the board with commitments to RMEF Films, the RMEF Mountain Festival, Bugle
Magazine, participation at RMEF Total Archery Challenge events in South Dakota, Pennsylvania and Michigan, and by being the official whisky of the RMEF Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo
“The hard work and dedication required to protect the habitat for elk and other wildlife reflect the core values of Pendleton Whisky,” said Lander Otegui, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Proximo Spirits. “We admire RMEF for their efforts supporting elk and conservation across the country and are proud to be a sponsor of theirs for 2023.”
