Yesterday we received a /HUGE PRIVATE / *trout plant of 1,800 lbs. *
This isn't the last plant of the planting season but it will shortly
come to a halt as our lake's surface temperatures continue to rise.
Although the trout must retreat soon to the cooler water which is deeper
in the channel, there is still plenty of them being caught from shore...

It was a brrrr-cold-windy-snowy Mother's Day Weekend - but for those up at the Lake, it was a fish-feast! Another stocking by DFW on Friday sure helped the cause.
