Changed things up today. Trolled straight for the little Truckee arm picking up Kokanee after Kokanee along the way. Hit the shallows in the Truckee for a bunch of dink cutthroats and 5 pansized native rainbows. Turned around and trolled back to ramp to finish our limit of Kokanee.  Ya don’t have to fish with the pack of boats to catch 50 kokanee...

Glitterbugs.org day today at Stampede for Kokanee 15”-16+”.  There was a big traffic jam out on Dog Valley Road that put us on the water after 6am but with the hot bite, it didn’t matter.  Purple and pink, pink n chartreuse, pink n blue, and chartreuse n orange worked equally with tuna flavored sho peg corn trolled between 35-55’ at 1.2mph.  Seeing lotta...
