Stealheading in the Rain Klamath style
by Scott Caldwell
Every year Brian and Ken come up to Steelhead fish with me they bring the Winter Steelhead weather with them. This year was no exception. Yesterday, The guys fished through cold rainy conditions all morning and hooked up on some great Steelhead all while aide casting Pro-Cure Carpspit rapalas. These hard fighting fatties are smashing plugs and pulling hard as well as putting on Ariel shows that Steelhead are known for. It looks the real Winter Steelhead season has begun temperatures have dropped we have seen snow at higher elevations rain sun wind and the kitchen sink below. Yes that is Winter Steelhead fishing on the Klamath wait 5 minutes if you don't like weather it may change thanks Brian and Ken for jump starting Winter and the Steelhead it was great last couple of days.
