The fishing at McCloud reservoir is outstanding. The faster you can get your lines in the water the faster you can catch Trout. My clients Dennis and Roger got to experience the red hot bite yesterday. We had our limits in no time and quit counting around 50. The fish are not real big but fat and feisty. Trolling Sep's Dodgers with worm trailers dipped in Pro-Cure shrimp krill oil did the trick. We also caught quite few Trout on the flyrod with a sinking line and a woolly bugger. The fish are hungry and easy to catch. Hardly anyone is out fishing during the weekdays so if you can get away now is great time. McCloud reservoir will remain fish able through out the fall and winter month's.
