Winter steelhead fishing continues; spring Chinook begins
Water conditions on many coastal rivers should be good for steelhead fishing this weekend. Also look for the first Chinook to start rolling into the Umpqua and Willamette.

Early season trout stocking
North Coast ad Willamette trout stocking is kicking into high gear. Check out the 2017 stocking schedules for west side lakes/ponds and start planning your next fishing trip. East side schedules will be posted in late February or March, once biologists have a better idea when water bodies might be accessible.

Learn to hunt and fish
