Salmon fishing on the upper Klamath is hot. My clients Dale, Larry and Ryan had the best day of the season yesterday, landing 30 out of possible 54 hook ups. Bouncing and backtrolled roe behind a diver produced all our action. We are seeing a mix of older fish and fresh fish now as well as some bigger males in the 20 pound class. Most of the Salmon are in 10 to 20 class and putting up great battles once hooked. The weather couldn't be much better, cool mornings and blue skies in the afternoon. The run should last into late October, then Winter Steelhead will start to take over as the Salmon spawn.

***I am taking booking now for Winter Steelhead, checkout my Calendar page for available days***
