Eagle Lake (Susanville) - Opening Day is Saturday May 26th Memorial Day Weekend, checkout Eaglelake.net or Myoutdoorbuddy.com for lake levels and ramp conditions, Spaulding launch may not be available on Opening day

Greenhorn Park (Yreka) - This small reservoir has great fishing and shore access for the whole family, Bass, Sunfish and Trout are plentiful at times 

Klamath River (Hornbrook) - We should be expecting the Annual Salmonfly hatch later this month, the river is currently flowing at 3500csf out of Irongate Dam, that is pretty high, we fish at 1000 to 1500csf most of the year

                        ****2012 Fall Klamath-Trinity Salmon Regulation Changes****
 

The following information comes directly from the California DFG fishing news website. The Commission has adopted these Salmon regulations for the upcoming Salmon season.

Open to fall-run Chinook salmon fishing from Aug. 15 through Dec. 31 with a daily bag limit of four Chinook salmon of any size. The possession limit is eight Chinook salmon of any size. The 2012 quota for the Klamath River basin is 67,600 fall-run salmon more than 22 inches long. Once this quota has been met, no Chinook salmon greater than 22 inches long may be retained (anglers may still retain a limit of Chinook salmon under 22 inches). A weekly DFG status report will be available by calling 1-800-564-6479.

Open to spring-run Chinook salmon fishing from Jan. 1 through Aug. 14 with a daily bag and possession limit of two salmon. The take of salmon is prohibited on the Klamath River from Iron Gate Dam downstream to Weitchpec from Jan. 1 through Aug. 14.


Lake Siskiyou (Mt. Shasta) - Bait, Flies or Trolling should bring easy limits, now is the time to fish the lake, the schools will be out soon for the Summer and the Camping will season begin

McCloud Reservoir (McCloud) - Time to go fishing!!

Medicine Lake - Check for snow conditions before trying to drive to Medicine Lake, snow drifts across the shady corners will make the road impassable if they exist

Shasta Valley Wildlife Refuge (Montague) - both lake are open to fishing now  this is a great place to take the kids for Bass and Trout
