What a great 2 days on the river. For the last few years I have been part of a big group trip and each year I get to fish one day with Joe and Nick Rotolo (cousins). Well this year, I got to fish two days with Joe, and one day with Nick and Dean Taylor each. What a great two despite a slow start the first morning on October 4. Overall, the boys ages 12 (Dean) 13 (Joe) and 15 (Nick) kicked some serious Salmon butt. They were a combined 23 for 42 over the past two days. Joe and Nick who had to go through the slow start on Sunday morning (bad weather), finished strong with an 8 for16 talley (biggest fish a 37 inch hen). On Monday, Joe teamed with Dean for a 15 out of 26 day (biggest fish a 34 inch buck). At one point, the boys were 9 for 12, then we hit a great spot hooking 11 fish in row, unfortunately we could only land 2 of them. 11 Salmon hook ups in 30 minutes what a way to finish the day. Thanks boys for a great two days, you guys have bragging rites over your Dads till next year.
