Spring seems to have begun in Siskiyou County.  We are starting to see our annual 50 degree temperature changes (Mornings and evenings in the 30 to 40 degree range with mid-day highs of 60 to 80 degrees). The sun is out and with it comes hungry Spring Trout. Lake Siskiyou and McCloud Reservoir will producing Trout for those that get out and try. The Klamath River is unfishable at the moment due to high flows. To all who check my reports regularly, I have been busy this year working on my house and with a new business venture. I will be trying to produce more fishing reports now that the weather has gotten better. Stay tuned.

Eagle Lake-Opens Saturday May 26th be one of the first to fish for hungry Eagle Lake Rainbow Trout

Klamath River-The river is flowing near 4000cfs, it needs to be around 2000 cfs to even think about fishing it

Lake Siskiyou-Trolling bait or flies should produce Trout go slow water will be very cold

McCloud Reservoir-Trolling (troll slow) should bring an easy limit for Trout, try out near the dam

Medicine Lake-Closed due to snow

Lake Shastina-No report
