Beautiful day on the Sac River and some nice fish too!

Today we fished the Sacramento River fo rsteelhead/trout and hooked a big beautiful trout on the first pass. We landed some smaller trout on subsequent drifts, but managed to get into another nice fish giving one oftodays clients two of the biggest trout hes ever caught. The bite wasn't red hot, but we did get into some quality fish and lost some too. It was an enjoyable day on the water and that being said, we're looking forward to many more such days as the season heats up and heads into spring!
