We saw a pretty good morning bite on Shasta Lake today and it continued into early afternoon with todays clients getting limits of trout to take home for the freezer.  Most of our bites came from the top 10-15' of the water we trolled and most came on the side planers and spoons.  We had some 2-3 lb trout in todays mix and caught several small bass as well. Water temps are sitting at 56 degrees and even with cold water running into the lake from our last storm, doesn't seem to want to budge.  Water color was good, but we did run into some debris fields in the upper arms of the lake.  Not a lot of big stuff, but enough to foul the lines a few times.  We'll be fishing Shasta again this week and will be picking up the trout trips after river salmon closes this next week.  Thank you!
