As the summer of 2019 looks to be heading into December again this year we have to be grateful for the lakes and reservoirs that feed our rivers.  On the Trinity River, we have water, but with flows at a mere 300 cfs they are very slow.  That hasn't stopped Captain Justin from pressing on and getting clients into steelhead on every trip.  We need rain and we need some fresh fish to move up in the system for the Trinity River to really emerge as a must book fishing destination.

Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide.  He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes. He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year. Jeff can also be found on the California coast chasing ocean fresh King salmon and steelhead each year.
