Today we had three boats on the Sac fishing below Balls Ferry.  Boat traffic was a little lighter than last Friday which was nice.  The Barge Hole continues to host lots of King salmon headed for Coleman Hatchery.  The fishing has been good and its been relatively easy to hook several Kings every day.  Between our 3 boats today we landed 14 salmon and lost several more before noon.  Monday begins the increase in flows on the Sac from 6,500 cfs to 8,500 cfs which is going to stir things up a bit.  The salmon may not bite real well with the increase in flows, but they will most likely respond by making a big push up river.  Ltes hope we see the big push and the bite remains really good!  We'll be in for some really good fishing soon either way.
