Fishing on the upper Klamath River has been great. 20 fish days for Steely Trout with a few Salmon mixed in.

We continue wait for the arrival of the main run of Salmon, they are in the river and should be here soon. In the mean time, the Steely Trout have been a blast to catch, on a variety of methods.

My clients this past week have caught fish on the flyrod/indicator, casting plugs, backtrolling bait and or plugs, and bouncing bait. The fall/winter run of Steely Trout is already beginning to show it will be another hot season.

These fish have been smashing our assorted offerings, often jumping multiple times attempting to shake the barb less hooks. It has made the outstanding weather even better.

I have days available towards the end of October and in November, so don't miss out on the post Salmon spawn Steelhead action it is hoot on the flyrod, as well as conventional gear. Simply go to my online booking calendar and pick the day that works for you. The rest is easy.

It is not to early to be thinking about the holidays, Halloween is a short 30 days away, Fishing trips make great presents and stocking stuffers, I have give certificates available that fit perfectly.
