I fished Shasta Lake again today and once again, she threw me a curve ball.  Its been really good in the morning, but the past few days saw a much slower bite.  Strange how just a few days and a few feet of water will make on that body of water.  I'm sure the rediculous amount of boat traffic had the fish pushed into some obscure locations.  We fished hard today and the typical pattern of smaller fish this morning and some real nice fish in the afternon came into play once again today.  By 1:00 the lake was like fishing in a washing machine so we called it a day.  We came in with some nice trout and our biggest King salmon of the year so far.  Great clients made the day all the more amazing for sure!
