Here is the latest fishing report from the Klamath River. Ironhead Guide Service has had guides out on most of the rivers in Northern California and Southern Oregon over the last week and the Klamath River has been the most consistent. Most guides are reporting 10 to 15 half pound steelhead, and 1 to 3 adult winter steelhead being caught each day. There is always fish in the Klamath River, they may not be trophy size but at least you can count on a ton of bites and fish pulling on the end of your line all day.

Pro guide Mario Gomez reports the middle section of the Klamath River around happy camp is in transition right now with a couple winter fish starting to show up. There are a bunch of fall fish still lurking in the river so it’s easy to keep folks busy reeling in fish. The lower end of the river has seen a good push of fresh fish move in and before the storm 5 to 7 adult winter steelhead were being caught by IGS guides.
