Today we fished Shasta Lake and found a pretty tough bite overall.  The bass action was good, but we didn't have bass fishing in mind.  We finally found a short bite and got into some quality rainbows, but it hasn't been very easy.  Surface temps are sitting at about 60-61 degrees, but the lake is still in transition.  At least it would appear the Shad are spreading out and thats only going to help the bite in the next few weeks.
