Today I fished with good friends and great clients, Larry and Peggy Snelling!  We enjoyed a peaceful day on the Sacramento River and had a great time catching our three limits of bright King salmon.  Its not terribly difficult most days to get into the salmon, and with a one fish limit, the day can be cut a bit short with great fishing.  Since I primarily drift small clusters of Pautzke Bait Co. Fire Cure roe, I encourage my clients to bring their steelhead report card.  We are catching some steelhead now, but when we move up river, we will be catching even more!  Getting limits of King salmon and then targeting rainbow trout and steelhead makes for a very enjoyable day on the river.  We are making sure our clients are getting their money's worth, even with a one salmon per person daily limit.  We still have a few September dates and have several days in October still available.  Once the upper river sees the next full moon, the Anderson area of the Sac will be stuffed with big King salmon and steelhead!  Visit www.jeffgoodwinfishing.com.
