Shasta Jumbos!

Some of our Shasta Lake rainbows are rivaling the King salmon we're seeing caught in the ocean this year! With a one salmon limit in the Sac River this year, catching (5) big trout in Shasta sounds like a pretty good alternative, doesn't it?

Today we fished Shasta Lake and boy was it fun!  Lots of big bites for a Grandpa, Grandson trio and they were back on the road with a bag full of fillets before 11:00!  Shasta is fishing really good right now and will continue to do so until October when the lake turns over for the winter.  I still have Tuesday and Thursday available for Shasta, Trinity, or Whiskeytown Lake fishing this week!
