Today we fished Shasta lake and found a pretty steady bite right out of the shoot!  The water temps are about the same as last week, but the warm layer is thickening.  Colder water has gone deeper and so have the trout.  Pautzke's Fire Brined rolled shad or anchovy strips on our PLine Sunrise squid rigs were the ticket again today!  If the hot weather holds, it looks like we may have turned the corner on our slow spring transition period.  Now through September is the peak of the summer trout season so get out your calenders and lets get your fishing trip scheduled!  Thank you!
