Today my clients from San Diego and I fished Shasta Lake once again.  The day started out just as I had hoped and we had our first fish, a rainbow trout, in the boat rather quickly.  The conditions were perfect for hunting big German Browns, but todays crew came out for limits of trout for a holiday feast.  I have a particular pattern for big brown stalking, but it doesnt always produce a lot of fish in numbers.  With only four rods fishing, I had to use a combination of presentations Like Macks Lure Hum Dingers and Trinidad Tackle Optimizer spoons that would catch both the biggest and the smaller trout in the area of the McCloud Arm I fished today.  This father son duo got their 10 fish limit, 3 browns to 5 lbs and 7 rainbows.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll enjoy these three thousand words!  Enjoy these beautiful browns and have a great Christmas holiday.
