The last week has produced the largest fish of the fall steelhead season on the Klamath River. Today was no different and when George laced into this feisty old buck I could see the sensation of the head shake in the butt of the rod. The fishing was great again today with more than 20 fish to hand. We got tons of bites side drifting yarn and eggs and picked up fish out of every hole in the river. If these old farts could set the hook we would have had 40 or more fish today hahahaha. But all that matters is getting out on the river and having a good time. The larger steelhead will continue to roll in and we will be seing our winter fish here soon in the lower part of the river. If you want to get in on the action give me a call and I will get you on some fish.
