The Solis family had an amazing trip with ironhead guide service and even got to take a RARE Klamath River hatchery fish home. I have caught and resleased over 400 fish in the last 3 weeks and when i looked at the missing adipose fin on this little hen i almost thought i was seeing things.

The spawn continues to evolve and more fish are showing up daily. Each day I continue to check historic spawning areas and every day a few more fish bite our hooks. Its like the fish finally got the memo and are cooperating with us. The 2017 fall steelhead season is shaping up to be one to remember it's like I'm fishing in Kalaska you know (klamath+Alaska) hahaha. The signs point to a great winter steelhead run on the klamath so you might want to get off your phone and book your trip ASAP because I have a feeling my days will fill fast.
