This past week has been some of the best Steelhead fishing on Upper Klamath river in recent years. The fish are so keyed in on the spawning Salmon and their eggs that if you put anything out there that resembles them it will get smashed. The bite action has been consistent to wide open throughout the week, with Steelhead in the 2 to 8 pound range. We did have some action on crawdad plugs but egg patterns are by far an away the better choice. Now is the time to get out on the river, traffic is light and the weather has been outstanding. I have open days starting on Friday November 14 give me a call or email me if you would like to book a trip for 1 to 3 people.
