Fishing on the Klamath river is very good right now. I have been on the river for tha last couple of weeks and the fish have been gorging themselves on stoneflies, particularly the Salmonfly. My clients Tim and Mark of Vacaville fished with me this past Friday and Saturday and did very well landing Steely/Trout up to 21 inches and 3 pounds. Friday's fishing was excellent the guys landing well over 20 fish, the weather was great, cool and slightly overcast, it keep those fish on the bite most of tha day. Saturday, was sunny and warm,  and we had to work harder for our fish, but still did pretty well, despite grass debree floating down river. We side drifted Salmonflies most of the time and tried running plugs when we could but the greass made it difficult. I'll be on the river fishing clients on Monday and Tuesday see ya out there, Fish On!!!
